THE PROJECT
Nobody asked me to shoot the MG stand at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
No brief, no commission, no official access. I just happened to walk past it with a camera.
Goodwood's usually all about heritage. Hillclimbs. Classic liveries. Cars that have been part of the furniture for decades.
Then you turn a corner and MG have put up something that looks beamed in from the future including dancing robots.
They'd already done the hard part by building something that looked that good. I just found the angles and light that did it justice.
Say what you want about MG's history. What they're cooking up now looks like the future.
And with the right eye behind the lens, it looks even better.
